What You Will Do
This specific opening is for a Registered Nurse on our 30-bed surgical unit. This unit primarily serves patients recovering from ortho / spine or bariatric surgeries. We do get some overflow of other surgical patients and a few medical patients. This unit has an extremely strong team with extremely low turnover who are known for working well together.
This is a full time, benefit eligible opportunity. You would work three 12-hour shifts per week. The shift is rotating which means sometimes you would be working 7A-7:30P and sometimes 7P-7:30A.
What You Will Need
- Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Prior work experience as a Registered Nurse in a hosptial medical / surgical, oncology or bariatric unit preferred however we are willing to train the right RN with Rehab / Transitional Care or skilled nursing experience.
