Technician-PCT, Patient Care - Nursing Med Surg Unit 002 - Full-Time,Night - Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus
Unit Description: 6 Center is a 24 bed unit. The Telemetry department patient population consists of patients transferred from ICU/Step-down, medical surgical floors. These patients require monitoring for arrhythmias and treatment with vasoactive medication, close assessment and specific interventions. Staff is trained in dysrhythmia interpretation and treatment as well as ACLS. This unit utilizes Voalte phones that alert staff of dysrhythmia.
Scheduled Hours: This associate will work three 12 hour shifts per week from 7:00PM through 7:00AM. This will include rotating weekends and holidays.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus, you will have the opportunity to perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in assigned area.
- Aids with entry and exit of patients.
- Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
- Responsible for keeping patient rooms clean and orderly as well as maintaining medical equipment.
What You Will Need
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
- High school diploma or GED required
